Customer case: CONNECT Norway

CONNECT Norway is an NGO that supports innovation and creativity. The organization represents private companies and public institutions that want to assist entrepreneurs in the commercialization phase. Through CONNECTs Springboard Process, entrepreneurs are coached to improve their business strategies and their business model through direct feedback from experienced business people. There are currently five Connect networks in Norway in addition to the CONNECT Norway Foundation. There are also several nodes around the country. The networks are organized as autonomous membership organizations with their own boards of directors.

    LimeSurvey (formerly PHPSurveyor) is a free and open source on-line survey application that enables users to develop and publish on-line surveys, and collect responses. We have several years of experience with this applications and have been using it for a series of projects involving user satisfaction surveys, event management, and much more.

  • MailChimp

    MailChimp is widely used email and social marketing platform. It is a very powerful application for serving relevant information to customers and stakeholders. No wonder it has more 3.5 million users that collectively send over 4 billion emails through the service each month. We use it on a daily basis and have designed campaigns and templates. We have also integrated contact list maintenance with other systems using MailChimp's API.

    Joomla is a free and open-source content management framework (CMF) for publishing web content. It includes features such as page caching, RSS feeds, printable versions of pages, news flashes, blogs, polls, search, and support for language internationalization. The system has been downloaded over 50 million times and it is estimated to be the second most used content management system (CMS) on the Internet after WordPress. We have several year of experience with Joomla and have built a series of websites on this platform. This website is a Joomla site.

    PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development but also used as a general-purpose programming language. PHP code can be simply mixed with HTML code, or it can be used in combination with various templating engines and web frameworks. PHP is free software released under the PHP License. We use PHP for various tasks, including integrations between various web applications.

    Hootsuite is a social media management system for brand management. It offers functionality for coordinating social media efforts within teams. The user interface takes the form of a dashboard, and supports social network integrations for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Foursquare, MySpace, WordPress, TrendSpottr and Mixi. Additional integrations are available via Hootsuite’s App Directory, including Instagram, MailChimp, Reddit, Storify, Tumblr, Vimeo and YouTube.
